Information we use
Depending on the service you request, we use identity and contact details, account information, billing and delivery addresses, kitchen projects and designs, quotes and orders, samples, technical approvals, payments and financial documents, fulfilment, guarantees, aftercare and customer communications. We also keep security and audit information such as IP address and user agent where needed.
Why we use it
Contract supports accounts, projects, orders, delivery, payment administration and requested documents. Legal obligation supports VAT, accounting and compliance records. Legitimate interests support security, fraud prevention, service administration and legal claims. Consent is used for optional storage or tracking where required. Optional email marketing is separate from account registration and service communications, is sent only where you actively opt in, and can be switched off in My Account at any time. No advertising or behavioural analytics tags are currently enabled.
Recipients and transfers
Information is shared only with service providers such as hosting, storage, database and transactional email providers where needed, professional advisers and authorities where legally required. Some providers may process data outside the UK; safeguards depend on the provider arrangement in use.
Retention
We keep information for the customer relationship and guarantee/aftercare period, statutory tax and accounting periods, limitation and claims periods, and security needs. The period is determined by the purpose and applicable legal or operational requirement; we do not promise automatic deletion where no deletion process exists.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure where applicable, restriction, objection, portability where applicable and withdrawal of consent. Contact support@fitted-kitchens.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
